Welcome to QEII Newsround, my name is Jason

And I’m Niki

Have you been Resourceful this week, like our Yoimoji Neon the resourceful wolf?

Here are this week’s signs of the week.

Balloonists class have been busy this term , starting off with a fun topic of bright lights big city. They have built Big Ben from biscuits and London Bridge using soft bricks. They have also enjoyed making mess with the sensory trays and have been learning about graphs in Maths.

Globetrotters have started exploring their Topic of A Child at War. They have baked a typical wartime Trench Cake, learned about Anne Frank and have designed and built some model Anderson Shelters. In Forest School we have started our new project ‘Hot Composting.’ Globies loved Science Week, they all took part in creating a contraption to drop an egg in from the top of the pirate ship in the playground, it was so much fun. Drama has been all about preparing for our Dance Live piece ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ and the Christmas Carol Concert which will be held in December.

On Monday lots of us enjoyed a great pantomime workshop with Lizzie Jay.

This week’s Taskmaster Club was all about throwing beanbags! Let’s see who threw theirs the furthest…

See you next time, bye!
