Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School is a successful outward looking and expanding special school where staff are highly valued and pupils are passionately supported. We are based across two sites in Horsham with 150 pupils with severe, profound and complex needs ranging in age from 2-19. We have vacancies in early years and key stage one as well as key stage three for September 2026 and welcome applicants desiring either full or part time.

Our outstanding school continues to grow and we are looking for creative and enthusiastic teachers who share our vision of care, creativity and empowerment to join our family. The school has specialist status for performing arts and is committed to learning through this approach within our dynamic curriculum.

We really value our staff and support them to thrive in their careers. The successful candidates will either be experienced teachers in mainstream or special education who enjoy working in a team or ECT’s who have a desire and passion to develop their career in special needs teaching.

We provide an eight week comprehensive induction programme, followed by further professional development and career progression to our valued staff.

ECT’s will receive a tailored 2 year ECT induction package with exceptional mentoring and collaborative working with other local special schools, specialist CPD and training opportunities. Eg Attention Autism, Curiosity Programme, Makaton and Team Teach all with a supportive and warm staff team in a purpose-built environment with excellent resources.
