The Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School is an outstanding special school which caters for 120 pupils, with ages ranging from two to nineteen years. All the pupils have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some pupils also experience more complex needs, such as severe epilepsy or autism. The school has specialist status for performing arts and is committed to learning through this approach.

Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School is a small special school for pupils aged 2-19 with severe, complex or profound and multiple learning difficulties.
We have vacancies available for Special Support Assistants 8.30am-3.30pm, Mon-Fri, term time only. There is a position available to start immediately as well as further positions available for a September start. Salary grade 5 or 6 depending on experience. Full training will be provided to support your professional development.
Visits to school are highly recommended and can be accommodated outside of school hours, electronic applications are preferred. There are also opportunities for apprenticeships.
