Hello, my name is Jason

And I’m Summer

Have you been brave this week, like our Yoimoji Jambop the brave raccoon?

Here are this week’s signs of the week.

Mountaineers have become London experts with their topic theme of ‘Bright Lights, Big City’. They have explored the famous landmarks of London and made biscuits inspired by this. They have also learnt about The Great Fire of London, what caused the fire and how it changed London forever. In maths, they have done lots of learning about measure. They have also done a lot of baking, including making Lamingtons, inspired by their Bake-Off country, which was Australia.

Pathfinders have had a very busy week! They made their own bunting and celebrated the end of the war at a VE day party with scones! They also learnt a war time song using Makaton signs. They have started a project to make mittens and have also been going swimming. Finally this week we have been packing up the classrooms ready for their move over to the College, they are all really excited to see the new building.

On Wednesday, students in Primary were excited to have a visit from a Police car!

Our Stage Right drama group put on a brilliant showcase over the past two Tuesdays. Everyone who came really enjoyed their amazing performances. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this, and who came to see it. Congratulations to the cast and crew!

See you next time, bye!
